Dan graduated from The Heights School in the class of 2000, and is one of four brothers to have attended The Heights School. He earned a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish Literature at the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated cum laude in 2004. Prior to joining the faculty, Dan lived in Pamplona, Spain, where he earned a Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Navarre. Dan teaches Spanish and Advanced Placement Economics, serves as one of the school’s college counselors, and coaches JV soccer. He lives in Derwood with his wife, Ana, and their children, Emilio, Ignacio, Ana, and Santiago.
