Nate is the Director of The Heights Forum. In this capacity, he oversees the Forum’s online resources and professional services. He has spoken on a variety of educational and formational topics across the country, from Alaska to Florida. Nate graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in Italian Literature, complementing his studies with coursework in philosophy, theology, and neuroscience. At Princeton, he also served as president of The Tigertones, the University’s signature all-male a cappella group. Following graduation, Nate worked in the Admissions Office at The Heights. He later pursued graduate studies in Italian literature at the University of Notre Dame, where he taught Italian language to undergraduates and was named a Bradley Fellow in the Mendoza College of Business. At The Heights, Nate currently teaches Moral Theology and Philosophy in the Upper School, and has taught Natural History in the Lower School, Literature in the Upper School, and Writing Workshop in the Middle School. He also serves as an upper school mentor and Jackson Scholars advisor. Outside of the classroom, Nate has coached middle school baseball and authors a Substack publication called Thought Matters. He and his wife, Helen, have one daughter.
