Lower School Head, Colin Gleason, offers a Heights Lecture on integrity. He shares how honesty requires far more than merely telling the truth; our boys must learn to live the truth.

Colin Gleason

Colin Gleason serves as Head of the Lower School. Joining the faculty of The Heights in 2003, Colin has taught three years of Third Grade homeroom, three years of Natural History; he served as Director of Admissions for four years, and now Head of the Lower School for seven. Colin graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.A. in Classics. While at W&L, he was a member of the University Peer Counselors, the school’s a capella singing group, and the varsity basketball and rugby teams. He now teaches Storytelling to each grade in the Lower School in addition to his position as Lower School Head. He is also the Head Varsity Soccer Coach. During the summer, Colin directs The Heights Soccer Camp and The Dangerous Camp for Boys. He and his wife, Nicole and their four children reside in Silver Spring.
