Convivium is a gathering — a time and place for dialogue on broad themes that shape our work as educators. Your voice is essential to making it a success.
If you’d like to formally participate in the conversation, please fill out the form below.
A few things to keep in mind as you prepare:
- Proposals are due by August 31, 2026. You will be notified of your proposal’s status by October 2, 2026.
- Plan for up to 50 minutes, including time for Q&A or an interactive component.
- If you plan to use printed handouts, please bring them with you — copying facilities at the venue are limited. Bring 35 copies of each handout.
- Successful formats vary — seminar discussion, lecture, slide presentation — but the ideal breakout draws on your experience and expertise in a way that sparks genuine conversation.
- Proposals related to this year’s theme, Friendship, will be given first preference. Proposals addressing the craft of teaching or your subject matter, however, are also welcome.
