Patrick Love joined The Heights faculty in 2004. He came to The Heights with full teacher certification for all band and string instruments and voice from Towson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education with an emphasis in Instrumental Music. In addition to founding the lower school music curriculum and the mandatory band program, he teaches 4th and 5th grade band, conducts the Middle School Symphonic Band and Upper School Wind Ensemble and founded the Heights Jazz Band (2004), the Heights Boys’ Choir Club (2006), the Heights Tower Fools Club (2015). Mr. Love teaches privately and adjudicates band festivals throughout the area. He also performs with his jazz quartet, The Pat Love Project. Mr. Love also earned his US Coast Guard Captain’s License and runs a fishing guide business on the Chesapeake Bay including a fishing camp for Heights Summer Camps. He and his wife, Jessica, have five children.
