It was during his last year in Ireland that Mr. Dillon discovered and fell in love with the optima via (best way) to learn and teach Latin, that is, by speaking it! After college, Guillermo returned to Monterrey where he enjoyed being an elementary school teacher in an all-boys school for a year. He then pursued an M.A. in Classics at the University of Kentucky, specializing in spoken Latin, where he also worked as a Latin teacher at a classical school in Lexington.
