Convivium is a gathering, a place and time for dialogue on broad themes that affect our work as educators. Your voice, therefore, is necessary to make this event a success. If you are interested in formally participating in the conversation, please fill out the form below.
As you prepare your proposal, please keep the following in mind:
- Please submit your proposal by August 26, 2025.
- You will be notified by October 3, 2025 regarding the status of your proposal.
- Plan on up to 50 minutes for your presentation, including time for Q&A or an interactive portion.
- If you need to use printed handouts during your session, kindly bring them with you because copying facilities at the conference venue are limited. Please bring up to 30 copies of each handout.
Though successful formats can vary—seminar discussion, lecture, presentation with slides—the ideal breakout will share your experience and expertise in a way that leads to a vibrant conversation. Note that you may choose a topic related to the craft of teaching itself, or to the subject matter you teach. Topics that relate to the annual theme, To know and to love, are preferred.
