Book of the Month: Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes

From the Featured Books series.

This month we’ve picked Jonathan Auxier’s Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes as the Forum Featured Book of the Month. Joe Bissex (whose review of the book can be found here), compares it to James M. Barrie’s Peter Pan, but with some additional themes that make it a book worth reading. Check out the video below to learn more.

Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes was brought to our attention by a parent who requested a review of the book. If you’ve encountered your son or student reading a new book that you’re curious about, don’t forget that you can use the Request a Review form to let us know!

About the author:

Joe Bissex

Joseph lives in Rockville with his dear family, a mountain of books, two mountains of board games, one pesky spider cricket (where are the Daleks when you need them?), and a collection of 150 shot glasses. He can rave endlessly about the awesomeness of The Odyssey and The Tempest, so say “Penelope” or “Prospero” and see what happens. An avid fan of all things theatrical, Joseph directs the Omnibus Players of The Heights School, the Tower Fools, and is the faculty sponsor for the Film Club. Omnia Omnibus!
